Creating Multiple Tournaments Within an Age/Division
When dividing age groups into multiple tournaments, Nebraska USSSA will divide the teams by POWER RATING only.

Each Division will be presented with Awards – Example using 43 teams
43 Teams. Divided into three tournaments based on power rating
Elite Division: Seeds 1 – 16. Pool play followed by top 8 to gold bracket and bottom 8 to silver bracket
Division I: Seeds 17 – 32. Pool play followed by top 8 to gold bracket and bottom 8 to silver bracket
Division II: Seeds 33 – 43. Pool play followed by top 7 to gold bracket and bottom4 to silver bracket
If a team has recently been reclassified from a higher classification and only have a few results in the new classification, the team will be placed in the upper division of the separated age group.
The State Director will review the record and place in tournament at an appropriate seed.
If a team has recently been reclassified from a lower classification and only have a few results in the new classification, the team will be placed in the lower division of the separated age group.
