Good evening! We have certainly had some interesting weather all across the region this afternoon.
With that said, the fields are in good condition and we are planning to play as scheduled.
We are currently not anticipating any further weather in the Columbus area throughout the evening/night and will NOT put out another update unless something unexpected happens.

Good morning, Happy tournament weekend eve :) Thank you so much for joining us again this year, we are looking forward to seeing both familiar faces and new faces. We do have a couple housekeeping things to go over so I thought I would send those out closer to the start of the tournament to keep everything fresh. First off, there is a lot of road construction going on in Columbus right now. If you are coming from east of Columbus via Highway 30 expect some minor traffic delays as the four lanes are down to two. There is also some construction near Bradshaw Park. You can still access the park from all of the original directions, but it is now via temporary roads. Use caution when on them as they are narrower than normal. If you are coming in for the 8u division, you will possibly be playing at two separate locations, The Armory, and Bradshaw Park. While you are playing at the Armory, please DO NOT park in front of any of the storage units. The owners are very fussy about that and have been known to stop game play until the cars have been moved. Commonwealth Electric has given us permission to park in their lot if there is no direct or street parking left at the Armory. If you are coming in for either of the 14u divisions, you may have noticed that we have had the opportunity to add our Legion field at Pawnee Park to this year's field roster. You may play at either Pawnee Park or Gerrard, or both. One of the caveats to using that field is that the city is requiring us to have a Mariners team on site for both days. Because of this, on Sunday whatever bracket the Mariners White team is in, that bracket will play at Pawnee Park. Upon completion of pool play on Saturday we will update the location on the USSSA site. If you have any questions, please reach out. Thanks! Shayla
